Vintage Fabric -- Donna Flower

Anything vintage is particularly popular just now and vintage fabric is increasingly sought-after by amateur and professional crafters. Not that easy to get a hold of, though, and I've noticed a distinct lack of choice when it comes finding shops which stock really unusual and unique pieces. Practically everyone seems to use Reprodepot -- which is not too surprising, given that it is the Daddy of them all when it comes to retro style fabrics and related products. But choice is good and I'm always on the look-out for smaller independent shops.

Donna Flower's shop look interesting -- there is a good selection of fabrics ranging from 19th century originals up to present day vintage-inspired reproductions, and the haberdashery section has some great little treasures -- I particularly loved the vintage nautical buttons. The clearance section is well worth a visit too.
